This is the view of the stage from the balcony. This is where we sat last week.
Here's Mike on his scarecrow post when Dorothy first finds him.
Scarecrow: "Oil can what?"
We're off to see the Wizard! The wonderful Wizard of Oz....
The kids on the floor are poppies...
On to Emerald City!
Curtain Call!
Sam and Mike (in his "Kansas" clothes) after the show.
Sam cheesed it up with a statue in the theater (Thanks for not grabbing the boobie, Sam!)
The whole play was amazing. The kids who played the Munchkins were unbelievably well directed. Some of them have been doing this every year for a long time. This show has run yearly for the last 14 years. It was great, and of course, Michael was absolutely wonderful. We were all proud of him. Samantha cried, which is odd, as I'm usually the one to cry at these things. I was a little overwhelmed, too, and actually nudged the woman next to me to say "That's my son!"
