Samantha's New Place

This is Sam's new home. Peeping in a window... We didn't have the keys the day we drove up there so I could see it.

This is Sam standing in her new driveway. The house is actually on a cul-de-sac. Now comes the moving! Ugh! Hope she loves it here and stays a while. There's a neighborhood gym and pool and things, and a stone's throw from the mall, so she should be happy.

Lunar Eclipse

OK I'm no eclipse photographer, but here it is. Mike and I watched it and it was pretty darned cool.

Septic Tank Fiasco

Once again, our septic system had a problem. Apparently the drain lines had to be re made. This took a week. And a sign posted in the yard that the health department was inspecting! The gravel to go in the septic tank. And also to spread in the parking area beside the carport. It was very hard work shoveling that gravel!

Snow Comes

January 17, snow began to fall at around 1 in the morning. By the time I was able to take this picture, it was 7 or so. Mike got out of school, but I still had to go to work! Darn it. Big snow is predicted for tomorrow, though, Jan 19. We'll see....

A Stranger In The Night

A Stranger In The Night was a student directed play. Jessica Kune did an absolutely fabulous job. The show was extremely entertaining. She even had to play a role in this performance and the whole thing went off without a hitch. Congratulations, Jessica! Well done...

Sam's Birthday Celebration

Here she is opening her dad's card. He gave her a nice check. The card was rude... it made them all laugh.
Here she has opening the hat, scarf, and gloves Mike got her. She seemed to like them a lot and kept them on for awhile.


As Daren and Sam were about to leave, everyone posed up for a picture with the birthday girl. Happy Birthday, baby! Twenty-two years old... Sniff sniff sniff

Christmas

Mike says it looks like Christmas threw up in our living room. I've put lights and bows on everything that'll sit still. This is the little metal tree I bought at some Dollar type store. I love it so much I went back the next day to get Kathryn one.
Here's our tree. It's nothing if not well-lighted.

And some decorations. Oddly, in these pictures my house seems hardly decorated at all, but walking into it feels very Christmas-y.

Chelsea won a spirit award for her volleyball team for her good attitude. That's her in the fron row, fourth from the left. This is Jeffrey and MacKenzie. She is a really sweet kid.
And this is Rocky. Samantha had the biggest cursh on him when she was 13. Sam, I put these two pictures up here just for you.
