Following our light breakfast in the empty dining room, we headed out to see my stepfather's grave at the VA cemetery in Houston.
Here it is. "Mr. Wonderful"?? I had heard that was inscribed on his marker, but chose to disbelieve it. Unfortunately, that was no lie.
Bill dropped the trailer and we drove the truck into the cemetery. I can hear Sue Bass now - "All the class of the alley!" :)

After the graveyard we stopped at Fiesta, Bill's new favorite store! We admired the wide range of meats and vegetables and drooled over the fresh tortillas. We ate tamales. Mmmmmm....
